If one day you travel to Ubrique, you absolutely have to see this!
El Callejón del Santo is a magic corner of Ubrique. This city is well known in the South of Andalusia for its tradition of cork and geographically for its natural heritage - which makes it part of the Ruta Blanca path.
Why do I say magic?

El Callejón del Santo refers to Saint Antoine, you'll notice the detail right at the entrance. Its decorations make it unique top-down!
It's all about artisanal creations - handmade - by the local women with macramé. recycled bottles, cork, and traditional stuff... It's incredible the attention to detail and imagination which make the Callejón del Santo a very magic corner of Ubrique.
How did I get to know it?
I must admit that this time I was lucky. To say the truth, even many of it's very close to the Peñon de la Becerra, another typical corner of Ubrique where rock and architecture melt together.
Right here Charo and Vicky welcomed me, to paint the Callejón del Santo where they create each one of the decorations and change them depending on the season!
