Syamhope presents "Read Me" and "The Origins of the Book"
The Kolektivo LAB was born from the Artistic LAboratory of Creativity Development and Visual Experimentation (LAB). The Artist and Professor Rafael Cecilia Varo is who created it and manages it at the Antonio Povedano Academy of Córdoba.
The LAB experiments and investigates mixed and hybrid artistic languages, both analogically and digitally. This is just a starting point to reflect on the artistic creation process itself, as well as to develop a personal artistic dialogue.

The actual presentation is a little selection of the artworks created around semiosis and especially visual poetry.
*Semiosi is any form of activity, act, or process that includes signs, also creating meaning. It's a process in the interpreter's mind: it origins from the sign perception and concludes with the presence of the sign object in the mind.
SOY MI PROPIA MUSA, FACTS – INTERNATIONAL FESTIVAL OF THE NEW BAUHAUS

During this day we revindicate the women's presence in museums and international galleries. Therefore, 20 artists we're meeting for an artistic performance at the Recoveco Artistic Studio of Almudena Castillejo. This latter with Clara Gómez Campos coordinates the event. Moreover, they participate as artists with the collaboration of Ángeles Invernón, Ani Talksmood, Begoña Castillejo, Adriana Valenzuela, Eva Llamas, Laura Zamora, Lucía Rey, Lucía del Pino, Magda Canovaca, Maranda Varo, Maribel Ríos, Marta Jódar, Martatuuk, Pilar Mayorgas, Rocío Esgar, Rosa de Gabriel, Sofía Syamhope y Topiarios Lafer.
This event is part of the Mediterranean Festival of the New Bauhaus (FACTS) organized by FunArco. It takes place at this time to celebrate the International Day of Arts promoted by the Andalusian Ministery of Culture, Tourism and Sport and the Culture Delegation of the Cordobese Town Hall.
